Bringing the Plan to Life
With the signed Layout Worksheet inhand, our team builds the First Article(FA) — the initial, real-world versionof the design. This is where conceptmeets craftsmanship. We install the equipment, make anynecessary fine-tuning adjustments, and ensure that the final result lives upto both the customer’s expectationsand our internal standards. Once com-plete, the customer is invited back toreview and approve the FA. This stepallows for collaborative refinement andguarantees alignment before enteringfull production.

FA Build: The Hardwired Prototype
As our Installation Manager, Alex, begins the FA build described in the previous step, the vehicle is fully hardwired by hand. During this process, we carefully measure all wirelengths, junction points, and termi-nation details. These measurements become the foundation for theAll Fleet Solutions (AFS) harness design.Once the FA is completed and the customer approves the build with-out changes, we package up those hardwire specs and send them to our partner (AFS) to create a First Article Harness.

FA Harness: The Custom Fit
The FA harness arrives from AFS and is installed in the next build typically, this is the first vehicle where we are documenting our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). This step is crucial, as it verifies the harness fit, function, and integration within the finalized layout. At this stage, we may still requests mall tweaks to wire lengths or connector locations. Any refinements are sent back to AFS to finalize the harness design.

Production Harness: Efficiency at Scale
With the FA harness approved, All Fleet Solutions begins producing the final version — a custom-made, plug-and-play harness tailored specifically for the job. From this point forward, every vehicle in the batch receives the same consistent, high-quality harness. This allows our technicians to work faster, reduces chances for installation errors, and ensures every vehicle is wired to the exact same professional standard — every time.

Bringing the Plan to Life
At this stage, the approved FA build and the approved FA harness come together. This convergence marks the official transition from planning to full-scale production. But we don’t just build, we build with consistency. Every finalized FA becomes the foundation of a documented Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). These SOPs capture all installation details, photos, and step-by-step instructions for every element of the build. This approach ensures that every vehicle rolling off our line is produced with precision and repeatability — whether it’s vehicle #2 or #200.
